Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business’ Dr. Christine Naaman earns 2025 Board of Regents Teaching Excellence Award

MURRAY, Ky. – ÑÇÖÞɫͼ State University’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business is proud to announce Dr. Christine Naaman as the recipient of this year’s Board of Regents Teaching Excellence Award.
Naaman, an associate professor of accounting, has been recognized for her exceptional dedication to student success, curriculum innovation and instructional excellence. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Blockchain Accounting Professional, she brings a strong combination of academic expertise and real-world experience into the classroom.
Her teaching integrates advanced tools and technologies that prepare students to thrive in today’s data-driven business landscape. Her students have consistently performed at a high level in national certification exams, including one who earned the distinction of Kentucky State Champion in the Microsoft Office Specialist competition.
Beyond the classroom, Naaman maintains an active research agenda. She has published peer-reviewed articles and presented her work at prestigious academic conferences, contributing to the advancement of accounting research.
She also serves as the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business assessment coordinator and chair of the Undergraduate Assessment and Curriculum Committee, where she leads key initiatives focused on academic quality and continuous improvement within the college.
